Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026. This is a plain-language summary of our privacy practices — not legal advice.

Who we are

Which Stitch Pro (“we”, “us”) is a product of Burnout Bureau, operated by Dark Corners LLC, 522 W. Riverside Ave., Suite 8070, Spokane, WA 99201. Contact: support@whichstitch.app.

What we collect

  • Email address, password (hashed) — account creation and login, via Supabase Auth.

  • Uploaded pattern files (PDFs, images) — core app feature, pattern parsing and storage.

  • Row/project progress, notes — core app feature, tracking your place in a pattern.

  • Subscription status, purchase history — manage your subscription, via Apple/Google billing.

  • Crash reports and error logs — diagnose and fix crashes, via Sentry.

  • Advertising identifier — shown only if you see ads, to show and measure them via Google AdMob.

We do not collect payment card details directly — purchases go through Apple’s App Store or Google Play billing, and we only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK users)

  • Contract — account data and uploaded patterns are processed to provide the app’s core functionality you’ve signed up for.

  • Legitimate interest — crash reporting and product-usage analytics, to keep the app working and improve it.

  • Consent — advertising identifiers and any non-essential tracking. You’ll be asked before these are activated.

Third parties we share data with

  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.

  • Sentry — crash and error reporting.

  • Google AdMob — advertising, if applicable to your build.

  • Apple / Google — app distribution and billing.

We don’t sell your data. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements.

Data retention

We keep your account data and uploaded patterns for as long as your account is active. When you delete a pattern, we delete the associated files from storage, not just the reference to them. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account → Danger zone → Delete account in the app. This immediately and permanently deletes your patterns, projects, notes, and account.

Your rights

We comply with GDPR laws so you can:

  • Access the data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Delete your account and data (“right to erasure”)

  • Export your data in a portable format

  • Object to or restrict certain processing, such as analytics

  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it

To exercise any of these, email support@whichstitch.app. You can delete individual patterns from within the app now; in-app account deletion is coming soon — until then, email us and we’ll delete your account and data by request.

International data transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Children

Which Stitch Pro is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the effective date above when this policy changes and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
